Motion, Social

Reimagining social media for the DiJones real estate brand.

DiJones has a rock-solid reputation in Sydney’s premium property scene — but their social media tiles? They weren’t quite keeping up. The brand needed consistency, clarity, and a sharper presence across all channels. What was once a scattered collection of agent intros, sold banners, open home invites, and seasonal greetings needed to feel cohesive, confident, and unmistakably DiJones — every time, everywhere.

I worked as the sole creative to lead the full redesign — from concept to completion — covering everything from creative direction and branding to animation, typography, and template systems.

The deliverables included a comprehensive suite of social media assets:

  • Agent profiles
  • Properties for sale, for lease, auction, off-market
  • Open home alerts, sold/leased graphics
  • Testimonials, blog tiles, seasonal assets, and special occasion
  • Meta advert templates
  • SEO open graph imagery
  • Static and motion formats for posts, carousels, reels, and video
  • Custom GIPHY graphics for use across all platforms

Using a focused set of visual cues and a refined brand language, I built a scalable system that not only elevated the social presence but carried through to print and web — ensuring consistency across every medium. Three years later, the system is still in use across the entire company — proving that even in real estate, good design holds its value.

A social media suite of 20 different templated styles with options available across all size formats for different social media platforms.

To ensure the new suite of social media assets could scale across the DiJones network, I designed a robust templating system that gave agents and marketing team members the tools to create on-brand content quickly and confidently. Each template was built with clarity and consistency in mind — easy to update, hard to mess up. From property listings to agent intros, everything had a logical structure and flexible layout designed to accommodate daily content needs.

The system wasn’t just beautiful — it was practical. With templated real estate social media designs for every post type, the team could maintain a high standard of presentation without needing to reinvent the wheel each time. It was about taking the guesswork out of design while still giving the brand room to breathe. Each tile aligned with DiJones’ visual identity but could be adapted to suit the varying tones of property listings, announcements, and marketing campaigns.

Motion was also a key part of the rollout. I developed a series of animated assets and motion graphics for reels, stories, and video posts — adding energy and attention to high-priority listings and campaign content. These were carefully designed to feel elevated without being over-produced, balancing movement with elegance to suit the brand’s premium positioning.

The assets were built with future-proofing in mind. As social media platforms evolve and new formats emerge, the underlying framework supports quick iterations without needing to start from scratch. This flexibility has helped the brand stay current while retaining a strong and consistent look across all media, both digital and print.

Ultimately, this project wasn’t just a visual refresh — it was a strategic overhaul of how DiJones presents itself online. The combination of smart templates, elegant motion, and strong brand fundamentals has helped the business streamline its content creation, strengthen its visual identity, and connect more meaningfully with its audience in a highly competitive real estate market.
